Novak Djokovic was born on 22 May, 1987 in Belgrade, Serbia. He is a professional, Serbian tennis player. Many experts believe that Djokovic is one of the best tennis players of all times. His parents are Srdjan and Diana. Novak has two, younger, brothers Djordje and Marko, both tennis players. He is married to Jelena Ristic. The wedding was on Sveti Stefan in Montenegro in 2014. Later that year, they go their first child, Stefan! Currently, this family lives in Monte Carlo.
Djokovis is a right handed with the two-handed backhand player. He turned pro in 2003. Since then, he was world’s No.1, on the ATP list for 139 weeks, in total. He won 8 Grand Slam singles titles, 3 of them in 2011, which made him the 6th male tennis player who won 3 titles in one calendar year. Beside other titles, Djokovic won: ATP World Tour Finals in 2008, 2012, 2013 and 2014. He also won 21 Masters 1000 series titles and he set a new record by winning 5 titles in 2011. Those achievements made him 3rd on the Masters 1000 winners list (since its inception in 1990).
Djokovic was coached by: Dejan Petrovic (2004–2005); Riccardo Piatti (2005–2006); Marián Vajda (2006–); Mark Woodforde (only during 2007); Todd Martin (2009–2010). His current coach is Boris Becker (2013–present). The prize money Novak won is $76,122,500. At the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 Djokovic won a bronze medal. His rating on the ATP list, on 23 March, 2015 is No.1!
